Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation
All paid TagGuard plans can be cancelled at any time, from where you subscribed:
- Shopify app subscriptions — cancel from the TagGuard app page in your Shopify admin (Apps → TagGuard → plan, or Shopify admin → Settings → Plan). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you keep access until then.
- Paddle-billed subscriptions (TagGuard dashboard plans) — cancel from the customer portal linked in your receipt email, or by writing to contact@tagguard.dev from your billing email address. We process cancellation requests within one business day.
Refunds
- 14-day window: if a paid plan doesn't work for you, request a full refund within 14 days of the charge by emailing contact@tagguard.dev — no questions asked, one refund per customer.
- After 14 days: subscriptions are cancellable (see above) and remain paid until the end of the cycle; we do not pro-rate partial periods unless required by law.
- Service failure: if a paid feature materially fails and we cannot fix it, you get a pro-rata refund for the affected period regardless of the 14-day window.
How refunds are issued
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Shopify-billed charges are refunded through Shopify Billing; Paddle-billed charges through Paddle (our merchant of record), typically within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
